Candle holders that allow candles to float. Vases with double bottoms. Diiis Designstudio develops day-to-day items that are anything but routine. To do this two friends joined forces to form a congenial duo: Susanne Moser and Martina Staub.
The Designstudio develops day-to-day items that are anything but routine.
Both strive to achieve a balance between functionality, simplicity and aesthetics. While the items they produce speak a clear language, they still don’t omit a love for detail. On one hand the designers visualise, develop and realise their own ideas, but they also implement customer orders. This is how products are produced which, because of the selected materials and originality, become personal favourites. All designs have one special principle in common: casual simplicity combined with a small but useful surprise.
